Wrapping Cookies

Wrapping CookiesWhy do children have to sell cookies and wrapping paper to support their schools?

Me thought that taxes were suppose to go to school.

I thought the same thing as you. It's like when children are in primary school and you have to buy school supplies and teacher shares them with the class and you do not know any parent purchases the supplies they pay off those who do.

Taxes do not fund public schools, but it is almost never enough for most school children do to make this extra money.

Many schools hold fundraisers so that children can go on field trips. It helps to defray the costs of bus, admission, lunch, districts, etc. Most schools have barely the money to largely without mention of extras.

Taxes help schools, but not enough to cover the additional expenses that the school wants. They do fundraising to provide additional funds for computers and stuff like that

In some districts, voters will not vote to collect taxes, schools need (especially if schools are in bad results). Then there is less money for everyone and schools must turn to this type of collection of money.
Also, sometimes, funding can not go strictly academic classes. Thus, field trips, music programs and art, speakers, etc., are not paid. And these things are part of almost all highly rated public schools, then the money for them must come from somewhere. Also, say the schools are renovated. The district establishes a timetable that some schools can ignore the urgent needs. Thus, the school would turn to fundraising to get money to deal with leaks, heating, basic equipment, etc. My school has been able to turn to alumni building and any new science wing, without the help of student fees or fundraising, but most schools do not have this capability.

In many countries there are different schools govenrment, public schools and assisted private schools. Allow me to break all of you.

GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS
Most schools in various countries govenrment school support it by giving an allowance each year. For a school of approximatley 560 students, amounting to $ US16, 000 was contributed to a school, it is especially evident in developing countries. These schools budget for the year often exceed $ 000 US21. Because of this present, these schools were a source of money from other sources. Including through associations parent meeting, where fundraisers are normally held. Talent shows, competitions also help fund the school. In developed countries like most schools in the United States are well funded. essentailly but there is no such thing as too much money. Schools will still often make fundraising not only for the extra money but for their comrades expeirence.

Public schools ASSISTED
These schools are partly funded by the government, and must maintain a specfic regon cost on the way to school. The shcool is normally responsible for their own safety, maintenance and moments university enrollment. The government permits compensation per year and provides the tools for school education, such as computer services and library books.

PRIVATE SCHOOLS
They are funded independently, mainly by parents who send their children to these schools. Primary funding comes from tuition and additional costs. It is not necessary for fundraising, but in fact the purpose of a social gathering and are still able to reap the benefits of finance gained. They have no connection with the government in terms of funding, but may be connected by the examination requirements and details.
