Wedding Keepsakes

Wedding KeepsakesHow can I keep my memories of marriage?

What do you do with your wedding memories?
I think to put in some sort of box, and store, watching years later ... Is this a good idea?
What do you store them in? I need ideas!

I have papers, contracts, toasting glasses, jewelry, veil, shoes, cards, etc..

You can get wooden crates in Nice craft stores like Michael. Decorate as you like, look pretty and personalized. Everything you put inside to put it into individual plastic bags (to protect from moisture in the air and dust and other things).
You can also get a shadow box (or two) and make a Nice Agreement. Maybe post it on the wall of your room. I do not recommend putting it in a living room, but it would be nice in your room. Or at least a couple of things: sailing, jewelry shoes.

I hope chest that my mother gave me when I became engaged. That's what she has stored its wedding goods up until she gave it.

Right now I keep items that I recorded throughout our relationship in a decorative box of memories of Nice, under our bed.

Another idea of where to store items is in one of these boxes shadow.

Talk with a museum curator good for good advice on how to preserve your memories.

Generally it will be acid-free boxes and avoiding the light. But talk to a curator for the best advice.

Hello to you:) I think your best bet would be to store each item type separately. I do not know what is the best way to store shoes and veil would be (I suppose that keeping them in shape and dry, while allowing air would be better), but for all the memories of your paper, I recommend an album. Not only will you be able to enjoy and go, but using an album archive safely ensure that their stay safely for a very long time. Albums are archival safe acid, lignin and PVC free (basically, things are really bad for your photos and documents), and you can find a really good selection to StorePhotos.com http://www.storephotos .com / wedding.html They also have a promotion currently underway for their wedding albums - just enter "married" at checkout to save 10%. Hope this helps! :)

others, you can keep in a safe at the bank.

other stores in a nice sealed box or plastic container and store in your closet or attic.
