What should I buy snowboard? Looking to buy a new deck this spring with the sale eruption. I'm currently climbing K2 Fatbob 165 (I know it's oldschool). It's good for powder mountain, but sucks in the park. I'm 6 "2" with boots size 13, so it should be long and wide. I want a tip for all mountain board (pipe, powder, park). Preferably twins (or almost) and pop kind . Boards that have caught my attention are the Wasteland Arbor 163 Arbor Roundhouse 163 Flow Infinite 163, and Lib Tech T. Rice Pro Series 164.5. I Flow Flite 3 bindings (Love'em). Any suggestions?
I would highly suggest verifying NeverSummer SL-R, probably one of the best rounds of the whole mountain over there this year. Really a great ride for all styles, others I would also be the Checkout
Libtech Travis Rice, GNU Billy Goat, GNU Riders Choice, Burton Hero GNU Street "lil more focused on the Park and the Skate Banana Libtech.
However, I would take a serious look at the SL-R is a great bridge-road and it handles well at all.
Edit: for Boong almost all of the above are available in a range, it must in size 13 is a board in the 26. size of area wide.
Nice you have to go out and demonstration is the best way to find a good board. Unfortunately not too many visits demo out of my house so I am forced to go mainly by word of mouth and research. Report Abuse
lib tech banana skate all the way dogs!
Lib-tech boards or GNU, they have reverse camber that excels in the park while you can easily ride powder. The t.rice is good but is stiff enough that it would be good for backcountry kickers and big but you may want a lower rate of a board of directors, see the rider's choice of GNU , series of the street, and lib-tech banana skate and TRS
Yes I am 6'3 "210 lbs with a size 11 boot. (Case does not work on this). I always wrinkled planks, because that is what I learned. It I was told that I had way back in the day. I have been riding for 16 years and have sold for 8. I have riden the k2 fat bob ... I could go on the list things ... or it was just the years I spent with a park and the council powder .... I ride last years dose in a 162. It is a twin that can hold the speed The float, reduced chatter, damp, smooth ride, pop, turns easily. It can go anywhere. get one. Or try years ... DH scale thats my move. Try www.backcountry.com. I found they seem to have a pretty good amount of things .... oooo good call on Flow bindings. I am a big fan.! OK! I just saw the replies everyone. Be very careful. " Most of these tips you will have problems because your boots are too big. There are many things to consider too, such as weight. How heavy you are. These people are all answers Gnu .... libtech same thing ... and no one has asked the weight or the advice they are offered too narrow and too soft ... wow. Be very careful
Capita! Just kidding. I've been riding head for a while now, but I'm quite direct in the park when I'm in the mountains.
