Post wedding invitations in a bottle? I will be taken in a message bottle invitations for my wedding. I'm getting married in Mexico so I thought it would be nice to do something tropical. My question is for anyone who has done this before or has received an invitation like that. Is it a pain to get the invitation from the bottle once its all rolled up. My stuff has not happened yet ..... I'm thinking ahead! If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I recently did the same thing ..... everyone loved the invites and nobody seemed to mind they were a little hard to get out, but a secret is to roll them around a pencil so you get the beautiful and rigorous so they fit in the bottle and do a little roll out easier. Most of my clients find it very amusing to try to get the invite. We used plastic bottles, so it was a little more difficult for any "break" as others have suggested, but using a pencil with an eraser on the subject, also adhere to the inside the roller and use it out .... it works great!
Good luck!
yeah it'll be a pain for your guests to get the stuff from the bottle unless they break or use tweezers. and it will cost you $ $ $ to all those mail! and how do you install a SASE inside there for them to return their reply cards?
my cousin is the same for his invitation and they recorded a small piece of string to the lid of the bottle and invite him to assist in the solicitation.
yes sound seems to be a new trend - we had to break the bottle to get the darned invitation - but perhaps there are different types of "bottles available - its a cute idea!
Wishing you a very happy marriage!
