Italian Wrapping Paper

My husband bought a sweet Italian sausage / this kind of thing yesterday Salami Deli a beautiful little we found. Since her recovery and all that, how long can it be stored in the refrigerator? and how do I keep?

It came wrapped in paper, can I keep it in this or should I use an airtight Tupperware?
