Gifts To Usa

My husband is leaving for India to visit family and old friends, and on Thursday he wants to make gifts for some of his cousins, aunts, friends and their children (age range is 2-65) . What should I bring? Space is an issue as he has to carry everything in his suitcase. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
