What is the best protection against lightning of a building? In America and the United Kingdom, they prefer the single stem or the system as a Faraday cage. In France and in Europe, the early streamer emission (ESE) is preferred. What is the best Systen?
In my opinion, ESE is a bunch of hot air. The link below shows some scientists and engineers who are also opposed to the idea of being more effective than normal lightning.
The best lightning protection that we now have a system of well-placed lightning rod in connection with an appropriate cable companies. The cable should lead to a stem that is buried deep suffiiciently.

Th Faraday cage will provide greater protection
Neither one of two systems of proof to one hundred percent effective. There has been no objective study which indicates that one is better than another. Faraday cages have been the oldest method around, but even when a lightning hit, the induction created in the cage is still so great that it can destroy the building, even if it is not plugged in. During my college years, I have conducted a study on this subject.

Neither. In South Africa we are building a carpet of the Earth below the structure to be protected. The carpet is then connected to between 2 and 4 pole lightning conduct, which in turn is then connected to the supply ground so to maximize the potential of the structure to that of the power sector. This allows the surrounding area almost equal to the value of the land grid.
