Communion Invitations

How far in advance should I send the First Communion invitations? So is it acceptable to have an open house? Otherwise, we have to rent the place and we have no money for that.

Provide two weeks notice minimum, but not more than four weeks. You want to make sure they have the opportunity to arrange to be there.
