Customize the gift to every girl ... not a gift to cover generically. If you go custom sure that their name and not something like your wedding day or "honor".

What would you buy them for their birthday or for Christmas? If the answer is jewelry, then by all means go that route, but each girl will be different. They spent a lot of time and money on your bridesmaids, your gift should reflect the same dedication.

The best bridesmaid gift I ever had cost about ten dollars. There was a stack of my favorite newspaper (I am an artist). I also have a compact white gold that has probably cost about two hundred dollars .... it is in my drawer and never used. One day, I fade to nothing.
