Black Wedding Invitations

I want to make my own wedding invitations. I want them to be printed on black card with white characters. A bit like this: http://www.invitationconsultants.com/inv ...

I would do myself to help minimize costs. What is the easiest, fastest, cheapest way to do this? Where can I buy black cardstock? If you know a company online cheap, I would consider that too. All suggestions are appreciated.

We made our own invitations for our wedding destination in the Bahamas. Once you have the style you like, find high-quality paper and cardboard and a high quality printer - preferably a LaserJet printer.

This is not really how it works. You can not print white ink - there is no such thing. A company like that has a printing papers specially obligations and inks, and many times it is printed in black with white spots of the carving. You can see the words on the page you linked to that they use matte silver ink. (This is a high volume specialty ink, I'm sure.)

I used black card for my wedding invitations, calligraphy and ink with a white gel pen. If you are able to do calligraphy, I would suggest - they were much.

Wal-Mart in my area sells black cardstock. It's like $ 5 for 60 sheets. I guess you just type what you want in black, and then after editing, it changes to white. I'm not sure how you would do the flowers on the side, but .... unless it's a specialty paper craft store that is similar to that.

I'm sure you could get some black cardstock Michaels.

Shauna is right to say that you are not able to print white ink on black cardstock (cheap anyway). You can design your own invitations, then have them printed by the company: http://www.bjoyfulinvitations.com.

Otherwise, print your invitations on card stock and white flood the page in black and lock type so that it is white.
