Are you planning a baby shower? Good for you! A baby shower is the best way to shower the mom-to-be with love and support, and help celebrate one of the most exciting moments of his life. Select the date and time
The baby shower is usually held about six weeks before the expected date of childbirth. However, some mothers are electing to have the party after the baby is born, especially if they choose not to know the sex of the baby in advance. Make sure you allow enough time to plan. Showers can be held on either weekends or during the week - there is really no hard and fast. Just try to make the day and time convenient for everyone including guests from outside the city. As for now, consider the needs of those who must travel to attend. Also be sure to keep in mind of mother-being schedule (PAN, medical appointments, etc..)

When choosing a location, make sure it is easy to access and respond to the needs of the party. Often, the baby showers are held at the home of the hostess (likely you!). Try to get a rough idea of how many people will be present before finalizing the details.

Budgeting
If you're like most of us, you will need to stay within a budget for the baby shower. Be realistic about what you can afford to spend - the mother-to-be do not want you to go into debt. You should budget for invitations, favors, food and beverage, game and gift for the baby.

Create a guest list
The best way to compile the guest list is simply asking the mother to be who she would like to attend the shower. If the baby shower is a surprise, working closely with the father to be to create a guest list. The guest list usually includes friends and family, but some aides may also be invited. Get address, phone numbers and e-mail. Also decide if it will be a girl "only" shower or a couple "shower".

Choose a theme
Baby showers are supposed to be fun - and yes, even a little ridiculous. There are hundreds of charm and fun baby shower themes to choose from - the sky is the limit. And honestly, sometimes "Baby" is the topic you need! Whatever theme you choose, remember this first part is the baby. Have fun with it!

Invitations Select
Invitations can range from a telephone call to a printed invitation, but in general, invitations are sent fun. If you selected a particular theme, you may want to invitations to equal him. Remember to include all details and information on the registry baby invitations.

Menu Map
Unless you're hosting a baby shower or couples baby shower very formal, you're probably good to use a cake, mints, nuts and beverages such as tea or punch. However, if the shower falls during a mealtime, your guests can expect you to serve more substantial food. In this case, you can use.
