If it is bad for a 7 year old to smoke, it should also be bad for his mother to smoke around him. and if it's bad for a child to do somthing he is as bad for an adult to do the same, if results do not change with age, correct.

I asked myself and here are some conclusions that I have. I think the thing alcohol is strictly a matter of money. I live in a state (Missouri) where our major approximation is named after the beer, for the love of Christ. (Busch Stadium). Alcohol is something very ingrained in our culture and make it illegal would be futile. Think prohibition. This does not work, it just produced a black market and crime. Banning cigarettes would produce the same effect. For the record, I am very opposed to both cigarettes and drinking. I just realized that their ban would not work. As always, the key is hitting people in their portfolio. Taxing the crap out of cigarettes has worked to some extent. Smoking in America is at a historically low level. Drinking is seen as a social and a bit like George Washington, no matter the number of horrible facts you might dig on it, it is part of our culture and will always have its fans and patrons.

For summerization, I think you're right, but some things are money. For my part, I think marijuana should be legalized. I can not believe that it is ten times less dangerous than cigarettes and alcohol. I've never heard of anyone dying as a result of weed, but you certainly can not say the same thing about cigarettes and alcohol. Incidentally, I have never smoked weed, or if I am a former smoker of cigarettes.
